Bert Pauw was born in Somerset West, Cape Town in 1993. He grew up in Pretoria, and graduated from the Michaelis School of Fine Art in 2015 and is a Simon Gerson Prize winner. Pauw is an interdisciplinary artist, working within the realms of sculpture, photography and installation. He currently lives and works in Cape Town.
